Woolworths brings back baked loaded Biscoff cheesecake

Woolworths has brought back a popular limited edition dessert item, and introduced a brand new sweet treat to go along with it.

There is nothing more nostalgic than a supermarket cake, with Woolworths introducing two new dessert items to help create new memories.

The supermarket has brought back the Woolworths baked cheesecake with Loaded Biscoff, which first hit the shelves in September last year.

The Woolworths’ item proved very popular, so much so that it has been brought back once again.

However, there is an uptick in price with the 2023 version costing $2 more that its predecessor, bringing the total price to $22.

Woolworths has also created the brand new Chocolate Chunk Cookie Pie, which features a vanilla cookie base with Belgian dark chocolate chunks.

The cookie pie has a price tag of $14.

Adam Mourad, the director of fresh at Woolworths Food Company, said: “Biscoff flavour has taken the world by storm, and we wanted to celebrate the unique flavour in a rich and creamy cheesecake for customers to enjoy.

“We’re also excited to see the Chocolate Chunk Cookie Pie arrive in stores. Cookie pies have been rising in popularity over the past few years and so we’ve created a fun version for the whole family to enjoy.”

Nick Vavitis, who is the man behind brownie company Choclt that also stocked in Woolworths, took to TikTok to express his excitement about the Baked Cheesecake with Lotus Biscoff coming back.

“It looks more beautiful than ever. This smells like the love of my life,” he said.

“Super creamy, the cheesecake is super fluffy and you can taste the tang to it.”

He added that the Biscoff wasn’t overpowering either.

“Was just talking about this yesterday ... but realised I hadn’t seen it again after inhaling it months ago,” one social media user said.

“I just know this is going to be the best baked cheesecake,” another said.
