‘Unreal’ new Aero chocolate flavour hits Coles

The new chocolate flavour comes amid a frenzy for dupes of the popular Cadbury flavour Caramilk.

By now it’s clear that Aussies can’t get enough of Caramilk, with devotees of the Cadbury block also lapping up ice cream and hot drink versions of the caramel-choc flavour.

So it’s no surprise Caramilk fans have been eager to try the new Aero flavour Caramel Gold after it hit Coles shelves.

Described as a “melt-in-your-mouth experience”, the new Aero flavour features a caramel gold choc centre covered in an outside layer of milk chocolate.

“I’m pretty impressed, it’s the usual Aero just packed with Milkybar Gold,” TikTok user @sammy_dyer said in a video this week.

“Unreal, definitely try it.”

The new Aero flavour was also posted about in the Caramilk Addicts Club Facebook group with the majority of Cadbury fans keen to give it a try.

“Yum! Bye I’m off to Coles,” one shopper wrote.

“Bought a block the other day to try, went back today to get more and they’re all gone,” one person lamented.

“It is delicious,” one person wrote.

“It’s yum, I ate the whole block last night,” another commented.

But others said they were “not a fan” and would be sticking to the original Caramilk chocolate flavour instead.

‘Just like Caramilk’: Supermarket hot chocolate goes viral

Last month a supermarket hot chocolate mix has gone viral after one TikTok video revealed it tasted very similar to the Cadbury block

TikTok user Eleanor Smith shared how she had purchased the Avalanche 99 per cent Sugar Free Caramelised White Chocolate drink and was blown away by how good a “dupe” it was.

‘When I tell you it tastes just like Caramilk in a drinking form I mean it is amazing and tastes so good,” she said.

TikTok star Brooklyn also gave the hot chocolate a try, saying that Ms Smith was a “legend” for recommending it.

“This is so good,” Brooklyn said after taking a sip.

People on TikTok were also convinced, with many commenting that they were “getting this” next time they did their grocery shop.

“Yum, will have to try this ASAP,” one commenter said.

“I need this,” one said.
