The easiest way to cut a watermelon

IT’S not an Australian summer unless you are biting into a fresh, juicy watermelon, and slicing one is far easier than you think.

WATERMELON is one of Australia’s favourite summertime fruits, although mango just pips it at the post for top billing.

That may be because we don’t really know how to slice up a melon without making a huge mess.

Now, the invention of an ingenious cutting device could change that forever.

The team at Genietti, who are responsible for its creation, say watermelon is a “social fruit”, so they set out to provide a new way of slicing it for parties.

A clever, double-edged action could save time, waste and cleaning up, they claim.
