EVERYONE knows the frustrating feeling of not getting what you asked for at a restaurant.

In most cases, customers will hiss and spit after finding a dreaded red veggie in their sandwich after specifically ordering the “classic cheeseburger with no tomato”.

You wouldn’t think getting orders wrong would seem like a viable business plan, would you? Well think again.

One new pop-up restaurant in Tokyo, Japan is encouraging order stuff-ups by only hiring waiters with dementia.

Customers go in expecting their order to be mixed up or completely wrong — knowing full well their seafood entree could come out as a three course family dinner.

The Restaurant of Order Mistakes popped up in Tokyo’s Toyosu district and was in a trial period during June 2017, according to Bored Panda.

The purpose of this unique pop-up was to raise awareness of dementia and to try and reduce the stigma that surrounds this brain disease.

The cafe’s unusual concept gained a lot of attraction from customers.

The restaurant’s creators, following their massive success, are planning for another pop-up event this year to honour World Alzheimer’s Day on September 21st.

A food blogger named Mizuho Kudo detailed her amazing experience at The Restaurant of Order Mistakes, explaining that she ended up eating a plate of gyoza dumplings after initially ordering a hamburger (and they were delicious).

The staff were having an absolute ball while working, Kudo also claims.

Yes. We need this restaurant in Australia right now.
