Pizza Hut plans on giving away 100,000 pizzas for every Aussie gold medal

Pizza Hut will be giving away 500 pizzas to people every time an Aussie wins gold.

Aussies will have a chance to win a free pizza every time an Australian athlete wins gold over the next two weeks.

Pizza Hut will be giving away 500 pizzas to people who enter through their website every time an Australian takes home a gold medal.

Australia’s Chief Marketing Officer Wendy Leung said there’s a chance to win more than 100,000 pizzas from July 26 to August 12.

“At Pizza Hut, we know how much Australians love our sport and our pizza,” Ms Leung said.

“Our ‘Pizzas for Golds’ campaign is all about bringing people together to celebrate our achievements as a country.

“We’re excited to fuel the passion of our fans with thousands of free pizzas.

“So, get ready to cheer, celebrate, and enjoy a slice on us every time we bring home a gold.”

Pizza Hut is also giving away 1000 pizzas for the opening giveaway on July 26 and again as the event comes to a close on August 12.

For every Aussie gold medal win, customers can visit the Pizza Hut website or app to enter the competition at 4pm everyday during the Olympics.

The free large pan pizzas winners can choose for pick-up include pepperoni, BBQ, meat lovers, supreme, cheese lovers or Hawaiian.
