Peters and Nestle team up to launch new KitKat stick ice cream

It’s Australia’s number one chocolate bar, but the humble KitKat has been transformed into a new treat found in the Woolworths freezer aisle.

Just when you thought KitKat couldn’t get any better, this happens.

The much-loved Aussie bar has been transformed into an ice cream after Peters and Nestle joined forces to put a new spin on the treat.

While they were first launched in 2019, the sticks now feature a new recipe to really “reflect the inimitable taste experience” of the number one Aussie chocolate bar.

Just in case you were unaware, a 2020 Neilson report revealed it to be the best selling chocolate bar in the country. And now fans can enjoy its new ice cream version.

The all-new stick is covered in a milk chocolate coating with wafer pieces featuring a chocolate and wafer flavoured centre.

“We’re confident fans will enjoy our new indulgent sticks as much as they love eating the original chocolate bar,” Peters head of marketing, Andrea Hamori, told news.com.au.

“It’s just like eating a frozen version of Australia’s number one chocolate bar.”

The sticks will be available in a multipack of four ($8.50) or you can purchase it as a single for $4.

You can find it at Woolworths and independent supermarkets, as well as most major petrol and convenience stores.

They will be available at Coles in May.
