McDonald’s selling McFlurries for just $2

If you haven’t yet noticed, McDonald’s has secretly halved the price of one of its most popular dessert items – but only for a limited time.

How to Make a Homemade McFlurry

If you have just ordered a McFlurry and wondered why it’s so cheap, it’s because Macca’s has secretly halved the price of the popular dessert item.

As of right now, you can get your hands on a McFlurry, normally $4, for just $2.

The offer applies to all McFlurry flavours, including the new Cookie Time McFlurry which launched last month.

You have until Tuesday, April 20 to get your hands on one (or as many as your heart desires) either via the MyMacca’s app or physically in-stores, between 10.30am and midnight.

Tim Kenward, Macca’s’ marketing manager, said the special offer was part of their Loose Change Menu.

“It’s no secret our customers love our McFlurry range. From our classic flavours to our special limited time offers, the McFlurry is one of our most popular dessert items,” he told news.com.au.

“(So) we’ve halved the price of a McFlurry for a limited time to allow customers to enjoy our delicious McFlurry range for less when they visit Macca’s.”

The fast-food chain recently caused a frenzy when it announced its all-new Cookie Time flavour.

The McFlurry features the Macca’s classic soft serve mixed with crumbly choc chunk Cookie Time pieces, swirled with delicious hot fudge topping.

If you haven’t had a Cookie Time before, they hail from Christchurch with the company founded in 1983.

Aussie fans were particularly excited about the thought of the combo, with one social media user joking: “Guess I’m getting fat again, if it’s Cookie Time cookies”.

“OMG sis catch me at Macca’s daily,” another added.
