McDonald’s offers $1 Big Macs for one day only
McDonald’s has been selling their iconic Big Macs for just $1 today, causing chaotic queues from hungry bargain hunters.
Macca’s have caused a frenzy among bargain burger lovers with their $1 Big Mac deal today.
For one day only, Macca’s has been practially giving away it’s most beloved burger — selling it for just one dollar.
That’s right, one clam.
The deal that was too good to miss has caused many to stop what they’re doing and head to their local outlet.
And the result has been huge queues.
Chuck out that sad salad, forget your limp wrap, and pour that cup-a-soup down the sink.
Because you’ll be lunching at a humble establishment called McDonald’s today, and your bill will come to exactly $1.
The offer is available nationwide for today only, and allows one person, one burger, for one dollar each.
To get your mitts on a Big Mac, simply download the mymacca’s app on your smartphone and click into the ‘My Rewards’ section.
A McDonald’s spokesman said today’s offer marks a significant upgrade in the way the fast food chain creates it’s most iconic burgers.
“Macca’s (has) rolled out a series of improvements to the way the classic burger range is served, resulting in (a) hotter, juicier, tastier burger,” the spokesman said.
Those changes include adding onion at the burger patty grilling station “for more flavour”, softer toasted burger buns, and extra helpings of Big Mac sauce.
Do you need a tissue to wipe up that drool?
Aussies everywhere are going nuts over the one-day offer, with thousands of people taking to social media to share their plans to skip out of the office at lunch for a “Macca’s run”.
“Can you please take a long lunch break and bring me three please?” one person asked her colleague.
One thrifty dude asked his girlfriend: “Wanna go out on a date?”.
“How romantic,” she laughed.
Another woman tagged her mate in, asking: “Guess what’s for lunch and dinner on Tuesday?!”
Enjoy those Macs, friends.
