McDonald’s fan shares hack to keep fries hot
There’s nothing worse than cold fries after grabbing a cheeky McDonald’s on your way home – but one fan has the “best” hack to stop that.
A Macca’s fan has revealed their simple trick to ensuring their chips stay hotter for longer – and people are raving about the tip.
Tabby Louise showed how you simply need to put some McDonald’s paper napkins over the top of the fries to cover them and keep them warm while you travel.
She wrote on her TikTok account: “McDonald’s hack! Put some tissue in the fries to keep them warm for take out. Keeps the heat in. Best trick I ever came up with.
“I do it every time I go.”
Tabby showed her McDonald’s order after picking it up, and then claimed her fries were “still warm” when she ate them at home with a burger, The Sun reported.
Many people were quick to take to the comments and share their thoughts on the “hack.”
One wrote: “I TRIED THIS ONCE AND IT WORKS!!!! thank you for reminding me to do it.”
Another added: “I’m trying this.”
And a third commented: “Good tip.”
It comes after Macca’s announced the popular McFeast burger is making a temporary return from May 31 after customers inundated Macca’s with requests to bring it back.
For those who aren’t familiar, the McFeast is made up of a signature beef patty, tomato, lettuce, cheese, onions and pickles, topped with three sauces – mustard, ketchup and the signature McChicken sauce – held between a sesame seed bun.
Since it was removed from menus in June 2021, social media has been awash with eager burger lovers pleading for the fan favourite, which originally launched in the 90s, to come back.
“When is the McFeast coming back, it was my fave,” one fan asked, while another said “could you please bring back the McFeast asap? Thanks that will be all”.
Macca’s has “listened” to the cries of desperate Aussies, announcing the burger is returning for a limited time only from May 31.
