McDonald’s customer reveals disgusting meat inside Quarter Pounder

A McDonald’s customer was left gagging after making a foul discovery inside a burger they had already taken a bite from.

Shock moments Maccas staff attacked

A McDonald’s customer has revealed the upsetting moment they opened up a burger to discover a disgusting fact about the meat patty inside.

The diner picked up some Quarter Pounders from the Woodbine McDonald’s, in Sydney’s Macarthur region, on Monday but soon after chowing down, made a horrific discovery.

When lifting up the bun lid, they were greeted with the sight of raw mince.

The unsightly find understandably left them disgusted, with the ordeal prompting them to issue a warning to others also plotting a Macca’s run.

“Check your burgers before you eat if you’re buying from Woodbine Macca’s tonight,” they wrote in a post to Facebook Monday evening.

“Just got home and bit into this,” they said, sharing images of the uncooked patty.

More than 500 people responded with similar repulsion.

“This is just disgusting,” one person wrote in a comment.

Others echoed the criticism, agreeing it was “disgusting”, “gross” and “dreadful”.

One respondent said the uncooked meat could even put pregnant women at risk.

“Hope you complain and get your money back,” another said.

“I would have rung them straight away or gone back to the store,” someone else wrote.

The man behind the post said he tried to alert the store to the error but gave up after calling its phone number 10 times.

A spokesperson for McDonald’s said the company took its food standards “very seriously”.

“McDonald’s takes food safety and quality very seriously,” they told news.com.au.

“We follow strict processes and procedures to ensure the quality of our food.

“We are working with the restaurant to investigate this further.”
