McDonald’s brings back fan favourite Mozzarella sticks to menu
The fast food chain has left Macca’s fans’ vowing to ditch their diets to head to the nearest restaurant over a seriously cheesy return.
In particularly delicious news today McDonald’s has brought back a favourite menu item – and it’s especially good for cheese lovers.
The fast food chain has launched a new Cheesy range which features Macca’s favourite mozzarella sticks and two brand-spanking new burgers, the Cheesy Beef Burger and Cheesy Chicken Burger.
The two burgers include a crispy parmesan, cheddar and mozzarella cheese patty as well as a meat patty – and oh my god, my mouth is already watering.
Better still, Macca’s mozzarella sticks are making a comeback after briefly appearing in the fast food chain last year as part of their Mexican-inspired range.

The news that mozzarella sticks were making a comeback thrilled Macca’s fans on Facebook – even if it did make some a little worried about their waistlines.
“Why have they done this to me..... mozzarella sticks have returned,” one person wrote, while another quipped: “This is a cruel joke. I swear when I start diets this happens.”
But others weren’t too upset about the new additions, with one person commenting: “Well, I know what I’m having for lunch.”
McDonald’s Australia marketing director Jo Feeney said that the latest mozzarella stick offering came with a twist on their last appearance.
“Our Mozzarella Sticks were a huge hit last year, so we had to bring them back as part of the Cheesy range. This time they’re served up with a delicious new tomato chilli dipping sauce,” she said.

Macca’s was certain the two new burgers would also be a hit with cheese lovers, Ms Feeney said.
“We know there are a lot of cheese fans out there, and the newest burgers on our menu are a cheesy twist on some of our customers’ Macca’s favourites,” she said.
“Our cheese patty is the perfect combination of melty cheeses including parmesan, cheddar and mozzarella, made from 100 per cent Australian milk.”

1. Cut mozzarella into strips.
