Man sends Sizzler toast fans wild with his Air fryer version
Just because there’s no Sizzler, it doesn’t mean you still can’t enjoy their famous cheese toast, with a TikTok star sharing his epic version.
Just when you thought you couldn’t enjoy Sizzler’s famous cheese toast, out comes an Aussie bloke with his epic version.
While it may not be exactly the same, the man, known as the AirFryerGuy on TikTok, has tried his darn hardest to replicate the staple that people once waited in line for.
It comes after the fast-food chain closed its doors for good in October last year, crushing childhood memories around the country.

But in a video that has now been viewed more than 200,000 times, the AirFryerGuy has given hope to Sizzler fans with his mouth-watering cheese toast alternative.
As most Aussies would agree, he starts off by saying the best part of Sizzler was its cheesy breads.
“So I’m going to make it for you in the air fryer,” he continues.
He begins by cutting a loaf of white Bakers Delight bread ($4.20) into thick slices.

He then crushes butter into a bowl until it is soft and adds some Coles parmesan cheese ($4.40), mixing the ingredients together.
He then scoops a tablespoon of the mixture and spreads it evenly onto both sides of the bread before placing it in an air fryer.
To ensure both sides are golden and crispy, he flips the slice over during the cooking process which takes five to seven minutes on 200c.
The end result? Well, it looks almost identical to the Sizzler cheese bread — just ask some of his almost 1 million TikTok followers who have deemed it better than the original.
“Okay I hardly ever eat white bread but damn this looks tasty,” one person commented.
“I’m making this. Loved sizzler,” another follower wrote.
“Omg yes and the crunch sound did it for me,” a third added.
For those wanting to try the real recipe, Sizzler actually revealed just how to make its iconic toast in November last year.
It was almost like a farewell gift.
And here it is.
