It’s been five years since this particular dessert was on sale at McDonald’s but now it has returned.

The Cadbury Caramello McFlurry is back at Macca’s around the country from March 13, for a limited time only.

It was first released in 2019, just days after the fast food chain pranked everyone by claiming to introduce the McPickle burger.

The Cadbury Caramello McFlurry features vanilla or chocolate soft serve with flakes of Cadbury Dairy Milk Chocolate and an “indulgent” swirl of Caramello sauce.

“Combine the taste of Macca’s iconic Soft Serve with the sweetness of Cadbury Dairy Milk, drizzled with gooey Caramello sauce and you have a dessert that must not be missed,” Liz Whitbread, senior brand manager at McDonald’s Australia, said.

“The Cadbury Caramello McFlurry is only available while stock lasts, so head down to your

local Macca’s and try it with Chocolate or Vanilla Soft Serve today.”

The McFlurry is available at restaurants across the county, as well as delivery or the MyMacca’s app.

It comes as customers at the golden arches who purchase a medium or large fries — either on their own or as part of a meal — will have the chance to win prizes ranging from travel and experiences to online retail gift cards and free menu favourites from March 13.

“Customers can unlock some extra Macca’s magic through our world famous golden fries,” McDonald’s Australia marketing manager, Tobi Fukushima said.

“Value has never been more important to our customers and Surprize Fries is another way Aussies can get more at Macca’s.

“So whether you use your fries as a Soft Serve spoon, love to add them to your burger or savour them on their own, make sure you visit Macca’s and purchase a medium or large fries for your chance to win.”

Any customer who peels and scans the ticket on their fries box into the MyMacca’s app also has the chance to gain entry into the weekly cash draw, with the chance to win a whopping $10,000 every week.

Surprize Fries is available across McDonald’s restaurants nationwide, including via the MyMacca’s app and McDelivery, from March 13 until Tuesday, April 9.
