It’s in the business of making gelato. But now this company has entered the border wars with an offer to the Queensland Premier.

Gelato Messina released a special new flavour on Tuesday afternoon.

The witty staff at the company, which is headquartered in Sydney, shared it on social media with the caption: “Palaszczuk, if you want a flavour open the border to Sydney...cheers bruh”.

Queensland Premier Annastacia Palaszczuk has faced intense pressure during 2020 for her tough border closure rules.
