No eggs? No problem.

A woman has amazed her followers on TikTok after revealing a hidden room in her apartment complex that is essentially a private, self-serve convenience store – available 24/7.

The viral video, which has amassed 1.8 million views, shows the woman heading downstairs to a seemingly ordinary door in her building, only to uncover a fully stocked mini supermarket filled with pantry essentials, snacks, and even fresh produce.

“I want to make cookies, but I was out of butter and milk,” Sydney Schiffer, 26, who lives in Miami, begins her clip.

The perfectly organised shelves are stocked with items like popcorn, chips, chocolate, soft drinks, ready-to-eat meals and condiments, as well as various alternative milks and healthy drinks.

Residents can also grab instant coffee, loaves of bread, cereals, baking ingredients, spreads and pasta sauces.

It even includes toiletries, first-aid items and pet food.

“It has anything you could ever need, right downstairs,” she says.

Ms Schiffer, who boasts nearly a million followers and often shares cooking videos on her channel, then picks up some butter and milk, which don’t have price tags.

The space is equipped with cameras to monitor purchases, allowing people to simply scan their items, hit a button to finalise the transaction, and walk out.

“The best idea anyone has ever had for an apartment building. I never want to leave. Can I live here forever?” she concludes.

Viewers were in awe of the set up, with many saying they wish they had something similar in their own apartments.

“Genius!” said one, while another described it as “life-changing”.

“It would be so dangerous for me,” another joked.

“An introvert’s dream,” someone else chimed in.

“This would be great if you were sick,” another noted.

Others dubbed the “apartment pantry” as “so cool”, though some pointed out potential ways to get around the security system.

“You’re living in a high-trust area,” said one.

“This would last 10 minutes in LA,” claimed another.

Some people initially thought it was “free” food, but after realising that you still had to pay, they said it would likely be quite expensive due to the convenience mark-up.

However, others admitted they would pay for the privilege, especially when in a pinch or when needing something in the middle of the night.
