GOOD news Cadbury Creme Egg fans — your favourite Easter treat has been reincarnated as an ice cream and is now available across Australia.

The limited edition tubs of decadence are now available from all Coles, Woolworths and selected independent supermarkets nationally.

The ice cream was originally only available at Ritchies supermarkets in Victoria, NSW and Queensland, but will now be sold nation-wide.

A 473ml tub will cost Creme Egg fanatics $6.99, a small price to pay for a slice of heaven.

The ice cream, which has been sold in the UK for years, is finally available in Australia — and Creme Egg fans are thrilled.

One Ritchies store, located in Narre Warren South in Victoria, posted about the product on Facebook, saying: “CADBURY CREME EGG fans ... this is next level, available now in all Ritchies Supermarkets, CADBURY CREME EGG ice cream.

“It’s packed with lots of CADBURY milk chocolate chips and CADBURY CREME EGG flavoured sauce. Goodbye New Years (sic) Resolution.”

One commenter on the post replied, “Shut up and take my money!”, while another asked, “How am I supposed to be healthy when they snake me like this?”

Fans on the “We need Creme Egg ice cream” Facebook page have been petitioning for the frozen treat since 2015.

The initial announcement left people in South Australia and West Australia asking when they too will be able to buy the long-awaited dessert.

One fan in Adelaide commented, asking “What’s the likely hood (sic) of getting our hands on some?”

Ritchies replied, “I’m not sure how we would go about getting it to Adelaide, we don’t have any stores there,” and promised to make some inquiries. “I have a feeling it may not be far away from some IGA’s in Adelaide.”

Meanwhile, Shelby Jones wanted to know if sweet-tooths in Perth would be able to get the ice cream.

“No word yet,” was the reply, “If some Woolworths have it I suggest it won’t be too far away!”
