Allen’s lollies brings back an Aussie favourite with six new killer flavours
Allen’s lollies brings back an Aussie favourite with six new flavours to make life a little sweeter.
An Australian favourite has made a comeback with Allen’s lollies sliding new killer flavours into supermarket shelves around the country.
From Monday, Killer Pythons will hit retail stores nationally in six new exciting flavours.
A little bit sour and a little bit sweet, the new raspberry, cola, creaming soda, sour grape, sour watermelon and sour lemon will make each bite different from the last.
Nestlé head of marketing confectionery Melanie Chen said they knew lolly lovers were looking for more taste sensations with sour lollies becoming more popular, but super sour lollies weren’t for everyone.
“With Sweet and Sour Killer Pythons we’ve hit the sweet spot to give Aussies a juicier, more flavoursome experience,” she said.
“A personal favourite of mine, we’re excited to share with Australia.”
She said the team at Allen’s believed that fun shared is fun doubled and the sweet and sour delights were perfect for blind taste tests, knot-tying contests and sharing.
It’s the latest Aussie lolly returning to the shelves.

Last month, Allen’s announced Spearmint Leaves would be returning after a nine-year absence.
But the announcement that the mint-flavoured gummy green leaf covered in sugar got a mixed reaction, with some on social media calling it the worst lolly ever.
Allen’s is also relaunching Sherbies in its own bag for $5.
