Iconic Zooper Dooper milks return with two new flavours

An iconic frozen treat has taken on a new form as it debuts two new flavoured milks – after it divided shoppers last year.

A new flavoured milk is set to hit the shelves, inspired by an iconic summertime treat.

Zooper Dooper announced flavoured milk in Fairy Floss and Cola Spider flavours and an all-Fairy Floss flavoured pack of its classic ice block product.

It comes after last year’s milk launch, featuring pineapple, bubblegum and raspberry flavours.

“You’ve tried (and hopefully) loved our last range of Zooper Dooper flavoured milks,” Bishma Weeraman, Bega Dairy and Drinks Senior Brand Manager, said.

“We’re boldly back again with this new collection, bringing together iconic Aussie flavours in a summer collab that’s sure to get you talking.

“And following demand from our Zooper fans, we’ve listened and created a 24-pack of Fairy Floss ice, to keep your freezer stocked for your heatwave emergencies.

“Whether sipped or slurped, we know Aussies everywhere fall in love with these summer-inspired refreshments. We can’t wait to hear the nation’s reaction to this unique collection!”

The choice in flavours comes after Fairy Floss ice was voted a fan favourite, prompting the dessert company to launch the milk and a single-flavour pack of ice blocks.

Zooper Dooper Fairy Floss flavoured milk will be available in Woolworths from October 3, with other retailers from October 24th.

Meanwhile, both the 24-pack of Fairy Floss ice blocks and the Cola Spider milk with be exclusively available at Coles.

The Zooper Dooper Cola Spider flavoured milk will hit the shelves in Coles on October 24.

Last year, the milk flavours caused a stir online, with people divided on their taste.

A video by @lamington has amassed more than 125,000 views, with the TikTok user saying they are “in love” with the Zooper Dooper milks.

“Going to go to Woolies and buy all of them,” one person commented on the video.

“I need to try the Zooper Dooper milk, like that’s too Australian,” another said.

“My lactose intolerance says no, but my heart says yes,” one commented.

But not everyone was convinced, with some people on TikTok saying they didn’t think the ice block translated well into a dairy product – with one person brutally describing it as “regret in a carton”.

“It’s a no from me,” one person commented.
