Aldi teams up with iconic bar chain to release special new drink
A pub will be slinging beer for just $3.25 a can in one lucky city, but there’s a big catch.
Discount supermarket giant Aldi has teamed up with the iconic bar chain BrewDog to launch a new beverage just in time for the silly season.
The new ALD IPA promises punters an affordable night out these holidays, selling for just $3.25 per can.
To celebrate the release of the new beer, Sydney’s Hotel Sweeney’s will host a Special Brews by Aldi event on Wednesday, December 13 when patrons can taste the drink for themselves.
At the event, customers will be able to purchase up to three cans each for under $10 as well as enjoy a range of gourmet chippies and exclusive merch.
All proceeds from the event, which will run from 3pm to 7pm, will be donated to Australian children’s cancer charity, Camp Quality.
Aldi beer expert Paul Handley said the occasion marked the supermarket’s “first ever pub in Sydney”.
