Allens releases Oak milk flavoured Milk Bottle lollies

After almost two months of waiting, a new twist on an iconic Australian lolly have hit Coles and Woolworths shelves.

Allen’s beloved Milk Bottles have been transformed into Oak-flavoured lollies – and they’re finally available nationwide

The confectionary company revealed in July the beloved brands were collaborating, but the new highly-anticipated sweets have only just hit stores.

It is not clear why there was a delay.

The Milk Bottles come in two OAK inspired packs and come in two flavours.

One is an Oak-inspired iced coffee, a chocolate and malt blend, while the second is strawberry, with the new Milk Bottles being sold as stand-alone bags of lollies.

“With two Aussie favourites coming together, this new and nostalgic range will give Aussies a trip down memory lane and are sure to bring smiles to lolly lovers across the nation,” an Allen’s spokesperson said.

Allen’s OAK inspired Milk Bottles mixed bag will retail for $2.99 and have just hit the lolly aisles at Coles, Woolworths and Independents.

Allen’s and Oak collaborated on new products earlier this year, releasing a range of three flavoured milks inspired by the company’s classic sweets.

In April, Oak released milks in Allen’s Fantales, Allen’s Pineapples and Nestle Peppermint Crisp flavourings.

The brand announced the new Oak Milk Bottles back in July, sparking huge excitement on social media at the time.

“Want some...my favourite lolly,” one person wrote on Facebook.

“I’m in heaven, we needed this,” another said.

“Oooh these would be sooooo good,” one fan mused.
