THE biggest names in fashion are ready to shine tonight as Myer kicks off its AW13 season, with Jennifer Hawkins leading 37 models onto the Melbourne runway.

Along with former rugby star Kris Smith, the show features over 150 'exits' in the exquisitely restored Mural Hall of the Myer city store.

Toni Maticevski will open the show while sass and bide have been given the closing the show honour.

Some of the remaining 22 designers featured this evening include Yeojin Bae, Jayson Brunsdon, Karen Walker, Leona Edmiston, Arthur Galan, Cheryl and Vanessa Manning and Dom Bagnato.

Transformed into a 'Modern Day Portraiture Gallery' the Mural Hall will feature fashion images of retailer's Autumn Winter Edit, with guests taking their seats in a theatre-style setting.

Models will walk along one side of the heritage hall, backed by a super scaled 25m x 5m wall with moving digital designers names inlayed to the portraits.

Renowned Melbourne caterer The Big Group have designed their signature A-team canapés, while stylist Thelma McQuillan has spent weeks polishing the designer threads.

Celebrities in the crowd will include Kris Smith's new girlfriend Maddy King, Lauren Phillips and Lachie Sparks, Jayson Brunsdon, Karen Walker, Rebecca Judd, Danielle Spencer, Lindy and Michael Klim, Gary Sweet, Tim Campbell and Anthony Callea, the Made in Chelsea star Caggie Dunlop, and Bridget and Frances Abbott.

Fashion guests are flying in from all over the country, the renowned Crown Metropol hotel proving to be the hot spot for pre- and post-show partying.
