AUSSIE model Jessica Gomes won’t get much down time when she returns to the US next month.
The David Jones ambassador will head straight to Nashville to unveil the 2015 Sports Illustrated swimsuit edition at a VIP cocktail party.
“It’s exciting, I’m close to the team so it’s nice to be recognised,” she said.
The 29-year-old will get to hang out with her supermodel besties Chrissy Teigen and Lily Aldridge, as they promote the 2015 edition over a two-day celebration featuring a live performance by superstar rockers Kings of Leon.
Gomes has been photographed for eight best-selling swimsuit editions — which get global attention each year. She says it’s been great exposure.
“It’s opened up doors and introduced me to so many people. It’s a great, iconic magazine and I can’t believe I’m still being included in it. I feel lucky,” Gomes said.

AUSSIE brand Spencer Lacy is changing course for next season, rebranding itself as the go-to label for relaxed womenswear.
Now named Oncewas, the brand has chosen Fashion Bloggers’ star, model and photographer Zanita Whittington as the face of the campaign.
“Zanita’s approach to dressing is unique and we felt that she was the perfect face to launch,” brand manager Belinda Abbott said.
The new autumn/winter collection of luxurious leather and wool jackets and lightweight knits drops into stores next month.
