Robyn Lawley reveals she’s six months pregnant
AN AUSSIE supermodel has revealed she is pregnant, saying “it’s never a good time”, but she’s excited.
AUSSIE supermodel Robyn Lawley has revealed that she is expecting her first child with fiance Everest Schmidt.
The former Vogue Italia cover girl told The Australian Women’s Weekly that she was due in early February.
“I’m about six months pregnant,” Ms Lawley reveals in the magazine’s November issue.
“It wasn’t that big of a shock. We were excited when we found out.”
Lawley, who grew up in the western suburbs of Sydney, has seen her career soar in recent years, appearing in international campaigns for Violeta By Mango, Chantelle lingerie and Ralph Lauren.
“With modelling, it’s never a good time to fall pregnant, but Everest and I were going to start trying for a family in a few years anyway,” Lawley said.
The 25-year-old model-turned mogul also has a swim label, Robyn Lawley Swimwear, and cookbook, Robyn Lawley Eats.
In recent years Lawley, who is a size 12-14, has been criticised for being labelled “plus-size”.
“A lot of people write to me telling me I should be ashamed of myself because I am contributing to body dysmorphia and that really hurts,” she said.
“I never gave myself the title ‘plus-size’, I was just happy to model at any size.”
