WAG Julie Neale wore $7k ‘naked’ wedding dress to Brownlows
AFL WAG Julie Neale turned heads in her see-through gown at last night’s Brownlow event – wearing a $7000 wedding dress.
She stole the show at 2020 Brownlow event – turning heads in a sheer nude wedding gown.
But if you’re keen to get your hands on Julie Neale’s embellished dress, you may need to take out a bank loan to pay for it as it comes with a cool $7000 price tag.
The wife of AFL player and Brownlow Medallist Lachie Neal wore a One Day Bridal creation to the event which happened virtually this year amid coronavirus restrictions.
An Australian owned brand from Melbourne, it offers brides “an alternative option to the traditional white gown” – including the stunner Julie wore on Sunday night.
Kyha Scott, owner and founder of the brand, shared behind the scenes details of Julie’s outfit on Instagram, which was a next-level take on the daring “naked” wedding dress trend.
In case you missed it, “naked” wedding dresses are gowns designed to show maximum skin while still keeping covered.

For Julie, her nude gown was made up of a corsetted body suite overlayed with sheer flesh-coloured fabric that was adorned with gold detailing.
It completely flaunted her legs, while protecting her modesty – ensuring there would be no embarrassing wardrobe malfunctions.
The wife of Brisbane Lions midfielder hired a team of A-list experts to help create the showstopping look, including stylist Sarah McCarthy and make-up artist @Makeupbytihanna.
Sarah shared a close up video of the dress online which shows the extraordinary details sewn into the gown, including shimmering pearls, sequins and gold stars.
It also reveals the bodice was sheer too, showing the top’s boning, and Julie’s neckline.
Tihana revealed on her Instagram that Julie’s entire body had been covered in an “all over golden glow” to match her attire, sharing an image of herself applying bronzer to the 30-year-old’s legs.
Her blonde hair was styled into loose beach waves by Mikki Auld who shared a preview of the hairdo she would be rocking on the night several days earlier after applying a fresh colour to Julie’s hair.
All the attention to detail paid off, with Julie – a former beauty queen – being declared “best dressed” on social media.
“This outfit is incredible,” one wrote.
“Simply stunning,” another said.
“The look of the night,” someone else agreed.
Julie’s One Day Bridal gown hasn’t appeared on the brand’s website, suggesting it may have been a custom creation made especially for her.
But similar encrusted “naked” wedding gowns retail on the site for $6995.
To finish the look, Julie wore a pair of nude strappy heels and some dainty Natasha Schweitzer jewellery, where a gold bracelet and matching chain like the ones Julie wore retail for thousands of dollars.
