Thylane Blondeau was just six years old when she was crowned the most beautiful girl in the world. Now 11 years on, she’s won it again.

Thylane Blondeau has been named the “most beautiful in the world” — 11 years after first taking out the coveted title.

The French model was just six years old when she took out the top spot on TC Candler’s annual 100 Most Beautiful Faces of the Year list back in 2007.

Now, aged 17, she’s taken out the crown once again.

Ms Blondeau shared the news of her win on Instagram, and thanked her 2.6 million followers for voting for her.

“I just can’t believe it myself … thanks so much @tccandler and everyone who voted,” she wrote. “I’m thankful to all of you.”

Ms Blondeau, the daughter of footballer Patrick Blondeau and fashion designer and TV presenter Veronika Loubry, found modelling success from a young age, having walked her first catwalk at just four years old.

Since skyrocketing to fame at six, she has graced the cover of Vogue Enfants and modelled for luxury fashion houses such as Jean Paul Gaultier, Dolce & Gabbana, Chanel, Ralph Lauren and Lacoste.

However, her provocative and heavily made-up appearance in the magazine as a 10-year-old sparked widespread controversy at the time, with many accusing the publication of sexualising a minor.

However her mum defended the photos, arguing the only problem with them was the expensive jewellery worn by her daughter.

“The only thing that shocks me about the photo is the necklace that she’s wearing, which is worth €3 million,” she told one French newspaper at the time.

She scored another cover shoot at 13, fronting French magazine Jalouse and being dubbed the “new Kate Moss”.

She was eventually snapped up by renowned modelling agency IMG models and in 2015 appeared in the film Belle & Sebastian: The Adventure Continues.

In 2017, she became a L’Oreal ambassador and walked her first red carpet at the Cannes Film Festival. This year she even launched her own fashion line, Haven May.

She’s also become a regular fixture at high-fashion events such as Milan Fashion Week.
