Martha Kalifatidis: All the times the MAFS star was just like Kim Kardashian

With strikingly similar looks and a penchant for drama, the similarities between the two are endless – here’s how Martha became Australia’s Kim K.

With her sensational figure and dark hair, it’s no surprise Martha Kalifatidis has been labelled Australia’s answer to Kim Kardashian.

As well as their striking physical similarities, both women are no strangers to reality TV drama – with Kim K not afraid to air her dirty laundry on Keeping Up With The Kardashians – while Martha didn’t shy away from conflict on Married At First Sight.

But that doesn’t mean the constant comparisons have been fun for Martha, with the reality star admitting she was tired of being likened to a Kardashian, with some MAFS fans cruelly calling her “Kmart Kim”.

“At first I thought it (being likened to a Kardashian) was a compliment, but now I feel like everyone’s saying it in a horrible way, and I just think, like, OK, so anybody with dark hair and dark eyes and that wears make-up is a Kardashian?” she told The Daily Telegraph in March.

“I’m just over hearing now because it’s not saying it in a nice way. They’re saying it like, ‘You’re a try hard or you’re a wannabe’, and that’s the last thing that I am,” she said.

“I’m a wog, I look like a wog, like any wog girl that wears make-up and is groomed now just wants to be a Kardashian, I don’t get it, but it’s a compliment I guess, sure.”

However, Martha has had the last laugh, gaining nearly 300,000 Instagram followers and a lucrative career as an influencer since MAFS wrapped up.

She’s even poked fun of the comparison to Kim on Instagram, writing: “It ain’t as cheap as you think being Kmart Kim.”

Here’s all the times Martha bore a strong resemblance to the US reality TV queen – and looked seriously good while doing it.

Martha shared a sultry selfie posing nude in front of her wardrobe.

The photo was similar to a selfie Kim shared previously – except Martha was showing more skin.

THEY BOTH LIKE A WARDROBE SELFIE

In April, Martha took Kim’s famous wardrobe selfies to the next level, posing naked in front of her wardrobe.

Coincidence or not, Martha’s photo was strikingly similar to one Kim posted earlier – right down to the legs and background.

Kim is famous for rocking long hair extensions.

LONG HAIR, DON’T CARE

Kim is famous for changing up her hair when she feels like it, sporting everything from platinum blonde locks, a sharp bob and long extensions.

The make-up mogul has been a fan of wearing her hair in long waves, a look Martha also adopted earlier this year.

The MAFS debuted her long hair extensions at the Logies in June, with the hair suiting Martha to a tee.

She’s since traded her long locks in for a sharp bob, which suits her just as much as the hair extensions.

THEY LIKE A MIDRIFF

Martha’s Logies look had serious Kim K vibes, with the MAFS star sporting both hair extensions and a midriff outfit on the red carpet.

The look was similar to a white skirt and top Kim had rocked at the CFDA Fashion Awards in 2018.

DIFFERENT DAY, SAME DRESS

Martha appeared to get some inspiration from Kim while attending a MAFS dinner party during filming, wearing a figure-hugging pink dress with midriff cutout.

Kim had rocked a similar dress — albeit in a different style of material — back in August 2018, sharing shots on her Instagram.

In February, Kim uploaded a photo of herself with the caption: “I’m into selfies again.”

That same day, Martha also uploaded a selfie with the caption: “I’m into selfies again.”

Coincidence? You decide.

Kim is famous for her racy bikini photos.

And Martha has been giving her a run for her money with equally hot pictures.

THEY LOVE A GOOD BIKINI PHOTO

Last but not least, both Kim K and Martha love a good bikini Insta post – and when you look that good, can you blame either of them.

Both like to post up a storm when on holiday, with Martha giving Kim a run for her money, posing up a storm in bikini after bikini while on holiday in Greece and then Mexico.
