A blonde bombshell! Supermodel Kendall Jenner debuts new look at Burberry’s London Fashion Week show
Kendall Jenner looked basically unrecognisable when she strutted the runway for Burberry at London Fashion Week. And now it seems, it’s permanent.
The front row at London Fashion Week did a collective double-take when supermodel Kendall Jenner strutted out with a completely new look.
The Keeping Up With the Kardashians star, 23, is known for her glossy, usually dark brown hair but this time, she stepped out on the runway as a blonde.
The world’s top-paid supermodel turned heads at Burberry’s spring/summer 2020 show with a middle-part and “cool girl highlights”, according to Vogue.
It’s unclear whether it’s a permanent new look for Jenner or if it was a wig (as the Kardashians and Jenners are known to experiment with). Later, she was seen still with the blonde ‘do at a LOVE magazine party London.
Also modelling Burberry creative director Riccardo Tisci’s latest collection were Gigi and Bella Hadid, as well as Irina Shayk.
Watching on in the front row were Naomi Campbell, Vogue’s Anna Wintour, Dua Lipa and her boyfriend Anwar Hadid (Gigi and Bella’s brother), FKA Twigs and Euphoria star Hunter Schaffer.
“My first year at Burberry was about understanding and refining the new codification for the house,” Tisci said pre-show, according to Harper’s Bazaar.
“With that foundation in place, I feel ready to start exploring what’s at the heart of this incredible brand.”

The presentation also marked the runway return of Agyness Deyn — complete with her trademark pixie cut — who was a big deal in the early ‘00s.
Deyn, 36, retired from modelling to pursue an acting career, which has included roles in Sunset Song, Her Smell (co-starring Cara Delevingne), and the TV show, Hard Sun.
Her last catwalk appearance was in 2015 for French luxury brand, Saint Laurent.
“I suppose I have stopped modelling officially. I’ve not done any for a good long while now,” Deyn previously told the Independent, according toWomen’s Wear Daily.
Meantime, Jenner’s sister Kim Kardashian has revealed that her husband Kanye West has banned their daughter North, 6, from wearing makeup.
“She loves makeup but her dad won’t let her wear it,” Kardashian told E!.
“I think he had it; he changed all the rules. I’d let her wear, you know, she has a little red for Christmas, I’d let her wear a red lip, or I’d let her do one pop of something. I’d let her, if she’s wearing a black dress, a black lip.”
Kardashian was criticised for allowing North to wear red lipstick to the family’s Christmas party last year and sported neon orange eyeliner to a taping of Saturday Night Live in New York and even snagged her first solo magazine cover — the front of Women’s Wear Daily — earlier this year.
North’s obsession with cosmetics runs so deep, in fact, that Kardashian previously revealed she often had to bribe her eldest daughter with lipstick just to get her to leave the house.
“So, I kind of got in trouble for that,” Kardashian continued. “So, it’s now no more makeup.”
