COLLETTE Dinnigan is "a legend, she is a dream and just a fashion ingenue" - at least according to Janice Dickinson, the most obscure of fans who sat front row at the designer's Paris runway show.

Dickinson, the first American "supermodel", is as acerbic as Joan Rivers when it comes to cutting critique on global reality TV, has done a stint on Celebrity Rehab and takes great delight in telling people that most of her is 'fake'.

As for her Dinnigan critique: "I love the white pieces, all the blues and the Grecian goddesses too. Mad about it all."

In among the Dickinson runway chat we had after the fresh and inspiring show, it was an unexpected mention of radio duo Kyle and Jackie O who also scored a critique, with Janice saying "they need a 'Janice' makeover, especially Kyle!

"They are legends and to the point and that's what everyone wants. I always love talking to them as they get me. I think!," she said.

Never to get in the way of a product mention, the thrice married Janice, who has allegedly dated Mick Jagger, Grace Jones, Jack Nicholson, Bruce Willis,Warren Beatty and Liam Neeson, had her business pal Dr Brian Mehling with her. The two are heading to Australia at some stage to unleash a new collection of stem cell anti ageing serums.

"Darling, you won't look back," she said in an, umm, not-so backhanded compliment.

"I wish I'd had a jar when I was in the jungle in Australia when I did I'm A Celebrity, Get Me Out Of Here, as my skin was shrivelled like an old boot in that jungle." (It was Queensland by the way...)

Meanwhile our most successful Australian designer, Collette Dinnigan, celebrated success in her 18th year at Paris Fashion Week, where she presented her Spring Summer 2014 collection called "Both Sides Now".

Dinnigan worked with fabrics including Woolmarks Cool Wool, showing six garments made from the material to show that wool is not only for winter.

"There is so much possibility working with cool wool with an endless scope with what can be done with this natural fibre, and I really wanted to do a colourful and flirty collection" she said.

The collection also featured lots of lingerie, a salute to the product she first started designing many years ago. The "Both Sides Now" reference was inspired by the colour contrast of Vibrant Pink Flamingos in deep sea water; scarlet bra straps peeping through soft flowing draped wool dresses; bright floral aplique flowers on light dresses.

The Dinnigan runway show saw the march of Australian international models who also walked the biggest shows this season including Holly Rose, Madison Brown and Claire Collins.

International guests who attended the show and who are all loyal supporters of Collette Dinnigan included Poppy Delevigne, international blogger Hedvig, Charlotte Stockdale, international photographer and artist Elen Von Unworth, and artist Time McGuire.

Collette Dinnigan brought together a strong creative international team including Stylist Beth Fenton who works with Marc Jacobs, Harpers UK, Elle UK, ID Magazine and French Vogue, while Tresseme had hair director James Pecis tend to the locks.
