Woman’s ‘inappropriate’ G-string swimsuit divides water park goers

A woman enjoying a day out to a water park has sparked debate after her revealing string cossie was branded “inappropriate” online.

Woman’s tiny string swimsuit angers

A woman who wore a tiny string swimsuit to a family water park has been slammed by angry parents – but not everyone agrees the revealing cossie is “inappropriate” around kids.

In a video shared on TikTok, the concerned parent share a clip showing a packed swimming pool filled with kids and overlooking adults.

But the camera focuses on one woman in the pool, believed to be located in the US, wearing a flesh-coloured swimsuit.

The back of the swimmers is made up of just a tiny slither of fabric that make G-string bottoms and a zigzag feature across her shoulders.

Text overlayed on the clip asks: “Is this appropriate for a family water park or not?”

While the TikTok user asks viewers to weigh in on the topic, she makes her own opinion clear in the video caption.

“Thoughts!! I don’t think its appropriate there’s kids all around her, but she looks great,” she wrote, adding the hashtag “#thongbikini”.

The comments section was divided, but the majority claimed it’s society that is the issue, not her cossie.

“Honestly bodies aren’t inherently sexual, it’s all about how you view it,” one said.

“I wouldn’t have even noticed if it wasn’t pointed it out,” another added.

One parent said: “Kids ain’t worried about that. They just having fun in the water.”

“Lol girl it’s 2022,” someone else chipped in.

However, others argued it was “too much” because of the nature of the location it is being worn.

“That’s too much. Time and place. I wear stuff like that but I wouldn’t wear it there out of respect for others,” one stated.

“No. Just wear normal bathing suit if kids and families are around,” another agreed.

“This belongs on an adult beach for sure,” someone else argued.

Other angry social media users said “absolutely not” and “definitely not” in response to the question – while one claimed it was “public indecency”.

A lot simply said it was all about what “you feel comfortable in”, praising the unidentified woman for being “body confident”.

Earlier this year, Coco Austin was slammed for wearing a G-string bikini to the pool with her six-year-old daughter.

The mum, who is married to American rapper Ice-T, was accused of dressing “inappropriately” while at a water park in the Bahamas – with some calling the decision to wear the skimpy item around children “disgusting”.

The 43-year-old had rocked a matching pink and blue bikini with daughter Chanel during their excursion, but only Coco’s flaunted her bottom.

However, her cossie didn’t appear to break any rules at Baha Bay Water Park, with the tourist spot’s website not stating G-strings were banned.

Are women being told to cover up their bodies more?
