The new menswear trend we wish we’d never seen

JUST when you thought fashion couldn’t get weirder — or skimpier — someone goes and invents something like this. WARNING: Graphic and a bit weird.

Swimwear brightens Fashion Week

JUST when you thought the world couldn’t get weirder, someone goes and invents something like this.

The skimpy swimwear pieces were spotted on The Only Way Is Essex stars Bobby Norris and Harry Derbidge while the British reality show was filming in Marbella on the weekend.

The company responsible for the offending piece of fashion is Alter, a French brand which, if you’re wondering, ship to Australia via men’s fashion website Inderwear.

Now while Norris and Derbidge are wearing the item as swimwear, it is actually a half G-string known as a ‘String Latéral Flash’, described by the retailer as an “original and ultra sexy string which encloses one side of the waist.”

The String Latéral Flash retails for $31.70 — and if you buy $288.28 worth, they’ll ship it to you for free.

So, you know what to do.
