‘Ridiculous’ detail in Pretty Little Thing dress goes viral on TikTok
A woman wearing a dress with racy cut-out detailing has poked fun at the skimpy design, sharing the reality of walking in the risque outfit.
Clothing with cut-outs are all the rage right now – but a viral TikTok video has shown just how tricky it can be to walk in one of the revealing dresses.
US woman Nikki Pagano posted a video of her wearing a burnt orange dress from Pretty Little Thing which featured G-string style cut out panels going down each side of her hips and thighs.
The dress also had a halter-style top attached which showcased her toned stomach and underboob.
In the caption of the video on TikTok, Nikki admitted that it was a challenge to wear the daring outfit out.
“OK but this dress was hard to walk in,” she captioned the video, which has been viewed more than 1.2 million times.
On Instagram however, her sexy influencer shots would never give the issue away.
Three snaps shared to her social media account, where she has almost 8000 followers, show the budding influencer posing in a car park.
One image shows the dress in all its cut out glory from the front, Nikki’s hips and midriff on full display.
While another shows the burnt orange design from the back.
Despite its obvious flaw, people praised the dress and said it looked “beautiful” on her.
But others couldn’t get past the “ridiculous” fact Nikki was forced to awkwardly shuffle if she wanted to move.
“Bit hard to walk?” one person joked.
“It’s cute, if you don’t have to walk,” another commented.
Others suggested Nikki get the dress altered so she could walk more easily in it.
“Take it to a tailor and ask them to make the slit longer!” one person suggested. “The dress looks stunning, you might as well be able to walk in it.”
“It has potential, maybe make it shorter for legs to be able to walk naturally?” another commented.
One person applauded Nikki for seeing the funny side and posting the video, commenting: “I’m glad you have a good sense of humour.”
In a response to one commenter Nikki acknowledged the video was “funny”, writing that she “couldn’t even move” and that was what had prompted her to post it.
