Mum’s $1300 savings thanks to huge Big W $3 sale

Social media is going crazy over Big W’s huge $3 sale, where kids clothes are marked down to the incredibly low price. Some have saved hundreds of dollars.

An Aussie mum has scored a huge savings of more than $1300 thanks to a department store’s huge sale.

Big W Australia is currently selling a wide range of children’s clothes for just $3, and shoppers on popular Facebook group Markdown Addicts Australia are going crazy over the savings.

A social media user took to the Facebook group to let others in on the information.

“HOT TIP. Big W clearance in store …. A lot of items not marked down are scanning as $3,” she said.

“Check using the Big W app — so you are not running to the scanner all the time,” one social media user said.

Ever since, social media users have been sharing their hauls as a result.

One woman said she was in Big W early as she had accidentally bought scented wipes the day before and needed to swap them over.

In total, she saved $1308.77 after shopping for nine children in total – her own three children, her three nieces and a friend’s three children.

An image showed she paid $197.90, but she explained she saved an extra $19.47 after using her 10 per cent discount.

“Thanks for the heads up,” the mother said.

Another social media user saved $342 when she bought 25 items during the huge sale.

One bought a whopping 38 items for just $114.95.
