Celebrities around the world have been getting extra cheeky on Instagram by embracing a revealing new swimsuit trend.

With life slowly getting back to normal around the world, the future is looking bright – and some celebrities just can’t wait to give a cheeky wave goodbye to lockdown.

In fact, many bikini-clad stars have turned to social media and joined in on a ‘mooning’ trend as we all prepare to get back into the real world.

Celebrities including Kourtney Kardashian, Vicky Pattison, Vanessa Hudgens and Cardi B, are looking back from their rear view, we ask what the meaning is behind the trend?

“It suggests a walk to freedom and back to the world of fun, while the bum-flaunt is as much about status and superiority as it is sexuality.

“During lockdown the bum vanished, either beneath some trackies, or being used for more practical purposes like something to sit on as we home-worked or binged on box sets.”

She continued: “So now it looks like the celebs are sharing the pictures as an invite to ‘follow me’ to freedom, and wave goodbye to lockdown.”
