Insanely revealing swimsuit from Shein leaves shoppers stunned

A swimsuit from Shein has stunned shoppers with its high cut bottoms and revealing back, with some saying it would cause a “front wedgie”.

Bikini trends have seen less is more become the go-to when designing swimwear for the beach or pool.

However, a sparkly swimsuit from Shein released in grey or green seems to have taken things to new levels.

The swimsuit features an extremely high cut bottom with a thin strip of fabric from under the bust to the groin area.

Meanwhile, the back is simply four strings to hold the front up.

The swimsuit sells for $11.95 and is sold out in grey, while only size large and extra large remain in the green.

Some are fans of the swimsuit, with one customer saying: “Magnificent, very good quality. Thanks Shein.”

Another said: “So gorgeous, my husband loved it.”

A third said: “One of my best purchases. Sits really well and is excellent for the beach.

“You will surely enjoy the compliments that come with having the confidence to rock this on the beach. Beautiful.”

Not everyone agreed, with one person even labelling it a “mankini”.

“Back straps are ridiculous design, like a mankini,” one person said.

Others said while it was nice they would never wear it on the beach.

Many people were quick to comment that it could cause a “front wedgie” and would be painful.

One baffled shopper said: “Thongs are bad enough. But please this is a step too far.”

Another added: “Don’t sneeze.”

The swim suit’s design falls in line with what many looks at Miami Swim Week went for.

The five-day event saw the return of duct tape bikinis and introduced an even smaller version of the itsy bitsy “loincloth” bikini.

However, another revealing bikini style that appeared at the famous runway show is now getting a lot of attention online after it was shared by the model who wore it.

Lilbb Momo strutted her stuff at The Menz show on July 18 wearing a white mesh micro bikini.

But while you’d be forgiven for thinking it leaves little to the imagination when viewed from the front – after all there is definitely plenty of underboob – wait until you look at it from the back.

Photos of the blonde model walking on the catwalk show the minuscule swimsuit was completely see-through at the back.

The white mesh cossie is transformed into a “naked bikini” using transparent straps on the bra and G-string bottoms, making it look like she was wearing nothing at all except her knee-high boots.

Social media users lost their minds over the daring look, with one writing: “Deadass took my breath away.”

“Thought you were naked,” said another.
