‘Barely covers privates’: Furore over Heidi Klum’s tiny bikini

Supermodel Heidi Klum is enjoying a romantic getaway with her husband – but it’s her minuscule swimwear that has captured attention.

Heidi Klum has caused a stir with a “barely-there” bikini that leaves little to the imagination.

The German-American super model is currently celebrating her fifth wedding anniversary with her husband Tom Kaulitz by jetting off on a romantic getaway.

While on her island holiday, the 51-year-old has shared a series of bikini-clad photos, including one that shows the mother-of-three in an absurdly revealing leopard print cossie.

In fact, the two-piece is so minuscule, it has sparked a number of frenzied headlines overseas.

“My Bikini Barely Covers My Privates,” an article, published by infamous celebrity gossip site TMZ, reads.

“OMG Heidi Klum’s New Bikini Is A SCANDAL!!!”, a post on the Perez Hilton blog claimed.

It seems the outrage lies in the skimpy design of the bikini’s bottoms, which feature a small diamond shape across the gusset, attached to three strings which run across Klum’s hips.

In her video, the America’s Got Talent judge could be seen walking towards the camera, putting the micro-kini on full display.

Klum hasn’t responded to the furore around the strappy swimwear, but did state she was concerned about the strange tan lines she might acquire wearing it.

“Beach time... not sure about these tan lines,” she captioned the video.

Other snaps from her loved-up jaunt show the model getting up close and personal with what appears to be a sea turtle.

“He loved my feet . Must have been my red pedicure,” she shared.

While in another post, Klum could be seen floating in the crystal blue water wearing a floral bikini and statement blue sunnies.

Her and Kaulitz also posed for a photo kissing on the sand while holding a love-heart floatie that framed their embrace.

Klum also shared a video of her and Kaulitz laying on the sand, with the supermodel ditching her bikini top during the touching moment.

Klum and Kaulitz secretly tied the knot in February 2019, just two months after she revealed their engagement.

The couple married a second time in a formal ceremony in Italy in August 2019, with Klum walking down the aisle in custom Valentino.
