‘Adorable’: Shoppers obsess over $50 winter item at Target
Shoppers are drooling over a new piece in Target’s winter collection, saying the wardrobe item is “adorable”.
With winter just around the corner, a $50 item from Target has gone viral, with shoppers excited by the “adorable” piece of clothing.
The Aussie department store dropped the Lily Loves hooded zip-front puffer jacket and the cropped puffer vest as part of its winter collection.
The puffer jacket comes in eight different colours including black, cream, mocha, red and green, all with a price tag of $50.
Meanwhile, the cropped vest comes in three colours and has a price tag of just $40.
Dozens of videos of shoppers raving about the items have cropped up on social media.
One TikTok user, @roseoates, said she only went into Target to pick up a pair of socks when she spotted the cream and mocha jackets.
“I got distracted by the winter items even though it’s still way too warm here,” she captioned the video.
She said the jackets had plenty of room, and they covered her arm length but she couldn’t decide between the two colours.
Another social media user, known on TikTok as @princessmiimmi, posted a clip holding the vest with the caption: “No because why did Target Australia just come out with the most adorable puffer vests?”
Other social media users were inclined to agree.
“OMG I’ve seen them – so cute,” one person said.
Another added: “Target is always such a slay, I swear.”
“I need to run and buy the vest,” another said.
It’s not the first time an item from the collection has gone viral.
In February, shoppers championed the The Lily Loves knit cutout midi dress that came in fuchsia and black, and retailed for $60.
It came in sizes XXS through to a 3XL.
The dress, which fell just under the knees, featured a cut-out under the bust and thick singlet straps.
