This is what it looks like to walk the runway
CARA Delevingne has strutted down the catwalk, iPhone in hand, to record what she claims is the first ever runway selfie in a series of Instagram posts.
THANKS to model Cara Delevingne, now everyone knows what it looks like to walk down a catwalk.
The spunky 21-year-old recorded what she’s claims to be the first ever runway selfie video during Giles Deacon’s show at London Fashion Week.
The British model recorded six short Instagram videos during the show, adding wild commentary to each.
“It’s about to happen, it’s about to happen,” she cackles before the first video. “Oh my gosh, the first live video from a catwalk.”
Delevingne proceeded to strut down the catwalk while filming the entire scene with her iPhone for her four million plus followers, gleefully yelping and making faces the entire way.
The much-talked-about model has been busy during London Fashion Week. In addition to the Deacon show, she walked in Monday’s Burberry show, and unveiled the Cara Delevingne Collection, her collaboration with luxury handbag label Mulberry bags.
Although she doesn’t feature in any of the selfies, one of Delvingne’s fellow models at the Deacon show was reality television star Kendall Jenner, who caused a stir in the revealing outfit she wore during Marc Jacobs’ runway show in New York last Thursday.
