Bella Hadid stuns in see-through outfit at Tom Ford’s catwalk show in Los Angeles
Supermodel Bella Hadid turned heads at Tom Ford’s pre-Oscars runway show in a sheer dress, narrowly avoiding a wardrobe malfunction.
Chain-metal dresses, low-cut lace and disco balls – yep, this can only be Tom Ford’s pre-Oscars runway show.
The American designer brought New York fashion week to Hollywood, with Bella Hadid in a revealing metallic gown and a star-studded front row.
She was joined by her sister, Gigi Hadid, and Kendall Jenner, who also went braless on the catwalk, as Jennifer Lopez, Miley Cyrus and Lil Nas X watched on.
Though staged during NYFW, Ford – who is also a film director – took advantage of Oscars weekend to hold his show in the Academy Awards’ hometown of Los Angeles.

Ford, of course, directed Oscar-nominated movies A Single Man (2009) and Nocturnal Animals (2016), and is the newly-named president of the CFDA.
The former Gucci creative director previously transported his NYFW show to Los Angeles in 2015, which was the last time the Oscars clashed with fashion week, Vogue reported.
As such, his front row was very Hollywood.
Oscar nominees Renée Zellweger and Scarlett Johansson, along with Reese Witherspoon, Kris Jenner, Kate Hudson and Nicole Richie were there, as was Cyrus’s plus-one, Australian singer Cody Simpson, and Australian comedian and activist, Celeste Barber.
The space at Milk Studios featured a long runway covered in grey carpet over a mirrored floor and two tiers of mirrored walls.
Ford’s show began with patchwork denim skirts, teamed with slouchy jackets and boho bags.
Usually known for sleek accessories, Ford threw in some OTT fun, with oversized feathered earrings and a pair of yellow cowboy boots.
Kendall’s mother Kris Jenner beamed as she watched her supermodel daughter walk the runway, calling Ford’s designs “beautiful”.
Halfway through the show, the lights went down and disco balls descended from the ceiling, setting the tone for sexy after-dark wear, fit for the Oscars red carpet.
The crowd cheered as Bella Hadid strutted the runway in a barely-there chain-metal dress, with dramatic black velvet bows.
“Typical Tom Ford,” former Mad Men star Jon Hamm said after the show.
“It was elegant and sexy and beautiful and one of a kind. No one is doing what he’s doing. It’s really breathtaking.”
1, 2 Step singer Ciara called the show “amazing.”
“I think all of us girls are gonna be hitting up Tom Ford for every dress,” the singer, who is pregnant with her third child, said.
“If I didn’t have this bump, I’d be in that line for a couple of those dresses.”
