Reality stars glam up to attend STAX. PSV5 Sydney launch party
Australian influencers attended a glitzy fashion show in Sydney last night, with some pulling out all the stops with their own racy outfits.
Influencers dusted off their fanciest outfits after months in lockdown to attend a glitzy event in Sydney on Friday night.
Australian activewear brand STAX. hosted over 300 guests at the city’s Carriageworks to celebrate the launch of its latest seamless collection.
The brand, co-owned by partners Matilda Murray and Don Robertson, has proved to be extremely popular with celebrities and regular Aussies alike thanks to its high-fashion finish at affordable prices.
Its seamless range in particular has been known to sell out in minutes previously, with the latest collection PSV5 due to hit virtual shelves on November 12.
Top tier influencers and fans of the brand were invited to an exclusive unveiling of the new collection containing 9 new styles, 6 new colours of the brand’s signature pieces.
While activewear was the highlight of the show, the front row saw some showstopping fashion moments of its own.
Former Love Island star Cassidy McGill donned a very racy black dress with sheer, flesh coloured panels.
The gown flashed her midriff and gave sexy glimpses of her hips and thighs.
To finish her look, Cassidy – who has previously modelled for the brand – rocked a high pony and a dark smokey eye.
She wasn’t the only former reality star turned influencer who flashed her midriff at the event, with Bachelor alumni Bella Varelis wearing a brown two-piece that flaunted her stomach.
The 26-year-old looked effortlessly chic at the event in a long-sleeve crop featuring frilled edges and a matching midi-skirt.
Martha Kalifatidis also attended the party with boyfriend Michael Brunelli wearing a black and red corset with a feathered neckline. She paired the statement top with a pair of black pants and black heels.
Other familiar faces at the event included Big Brother contestants Tilly Whitfield, Flex Mami and Mary Kalifatidis as well as former Bachelor star Noni Janur and Kyle Sandiland’s model girlfriend Tegan Kynaston.
Guests were treated to glasses of prosecco from the radio host’s alcohol brand, Nueva, and ate mini burgers and fries before the show.
Matilda told news.com.au the event was initially meant to be virtual with guests receiving VR goggles as part of a 3D runway that was planned amid lockdown.
“That’s how we pivoted during lockdown, so we were very grateful and lucky the world opened up and allowed us to have the event in person,” she said.
The goggles will now be sent out at random with customer orders which will enable lucky recipients to view the runway show in a 3D experience.
“Seamless is our most popular and most hyped collection in the STAX. rotation and this time we’ve expanded the range and added brand new styles in our most loved fabrics,” she added.
“We are so excited for the launch this Friday, it is one of our biggest collections yet and we can’t wait to share it.”
