Model Bella Hadid has nip slip at 2017 Victoria’s Secret fashion show in Shanghai
IT’S a fine line between wearing next to nothing and actual nudity, but Bella Hadid went there at the Victoria’s Secret show.
MODEL Bella Hadid returned to the Victoria’s Secret runway on Monday night during the lingerie brand’s fashion show in Shanghai.
The 21-year-old showed off two looks in the parade and had the honour of wearing the brand’s famous Angel wings.
But it was her celebratory dance at the end of the show’s finale that led to Hadid accidentally flashing the top of her nipples.
“I’ve done a hundred different runways this year, but I think this one is truly special,” Hadid told Vogue just before walking the runway.
“Obviously our outfits are amazing, but to even go backstage and see all the time, effort, sweat, and tears that every person puts into this show is incredible,” she said.
It is great seeing them watch the show and see their final product. Plus, all the girls have worked really hard to be here. I’m energised and ready to go.”
Chinese model Ming XI took a tumble on the runway but recovered well, laughing off the fall and quickly dusting herself off.
Kiwi model Georgia Fowler maintained her composure despite the presence of her rumoured ex-boyfriend Harry Styles, who was one of the musical guests performing.
Styles’ hit song Kiwi is rumoured to be about Fowler, but the 25-year-old has denied the claims.
The song includes the lyric “I think she said ‘I’m having your baby, it’s none of your business’.”
“Ah, don’t really know anything about it,” Fowler said on Channel Seven’s The Morning Show earlier this month.
“Definitely don’t have a baby ... that’s what the song is all about,” she added.
Aussie models Victoria Lee and Kelly Gale showed off their months of hard work in the gym and looked sensational on the runway.
Lee is from Narrandera, the small town in NSW with a population of just 3800 and says walking in the show is her dream gig.
“I didn’t have a strategy other than to be myself which can be difficult when you have giant butterflies in your stomach,” Lee told The Daily Telegraph in August after she was cast.
“This means so much to me. To think of the amazing lineage of previous Victoria’s Secret models, it’s incredible to be included. But also a testament to what dedication, perseverance and a wonderful support network can lead to.”
The show has been plagued by drama in recent weeks with several of the models scheduled to walk in Monday’s show denied entry into China due to visa issues.
Julia Belyakova, Kate Grigorieva and Irina Sharipova from Russia, as well as Dasha Khlystun from Ukraine all had problems getting into the country.
Bella Hadid’s famous sister Gigi Hadid did not walk in the show, despite being cast in previous years. She announced the last-minute news via Twitter on Friday.
Iâm so bummed I wonât be able to make it to China this year. Love my VS family, and will be with all my girls in spirit!! Can't wait to tune in with everyone to see the beautiful show I know it will be, and already can't wait for next year! :) x

Haidd did not provide a specific reason, though it’s rumoured her absence may be due to a racially insensitive video she posted on Snapchat earlier this year.
In the video, Hadid was at a restaurant with friends and held up a cookie in the shape of Buddha, smiling and squinting in an attempt to mimic his features.
