Kendall Jenner, Gigi Hadid and model mates hit the runway in insane outfits for the Victoria’s Secret show

YOU REALLY have to hand it to the high profile models for keeping a poker face as they power down the catwalk in some of the most ridiculous outfits ever.

HAPPY Victoria’s Secret fashion show day, everybody!

The day we look at a string of impossibly beautiful creatures stalking a runway, and think to ourselves “that is the most impractical, uncomfortable bra I have ever seen”.

You really have to hand it to the high profile models for keeping a poker face as they power down the catwalk in some of the most ridiculous outfits ever seen on god’s green earth.

Let’s look at some of this year's most bonkers looks.

Gigi Hadid appears to have escaped a near-death skydiving accident where she landed on a freshly painted paisley wall.

Adriana Lima looks emotional here because reportedly this is her final Victoria’s Secret show. Or it could be that all those crystals are cutting into her rock hard abs.

Kendall Jenner looks like a bedazzled black peacock. Who borrowed some shoes from Donatella Versace.

Leomie Anderson has done a very good job at looking happy about this horrific outfit. She deserves a modelling Oscar.

This is always a fun bit, when the models try and interact with the musical talent (in this case Adriana Lima and Luke Spiller of The Struts).

This time it’s Stella Maxwell and singer Rita Ora.

Winnie Harlow wearing something I am pretty sure is made from a grandmother’s curtains.

Shawn Mendes seems to like the curtain look.

Behati Prinsloo ... we would all pull this face in those heels.

Jasmine Tooks. That’s next year’s Melbourne Cup outfit sorted.

Bella Hadid is right to look grumpy about those shoes they made her wear.

When your mum tells you it’s cold out and you should put a coat on over your nice outfit.

Here Martha Hunt looks like she was wearing a feather boa and it exploded suddenly.

Winnie Harlow … it seems they ran out of ideas and just threw the last scraps of fabric and feathers they had from making that previous outfit together.

The fact that this year’s show was conveniently set in New York meant that there were loads of celebs in attendance.

And it seems this is the event where you can bust out your most daring outfits — the lower the neckline and the higher the hemline the better. Also, don’t be afraid to wear underwear as outerwear.

As ever, this glorious day starts with photos of the girls backstage (at Pier 94 in New York) in matching robes having their hair and makeup done.

Instagram is littered with models crowned with hot rollers posting selfies with hashtags such as #LIFEGOALS #ZOMG and #dreamsdocometrue.

Um guys, your robes seem to be riding up a bit there … Maggie Laine, Alexina Graham, Myrthe Bolt, Barbara Palvin, and Leomie Anderson.
