Karlie Kloss, Rosie Huntington-Whitely and Nicky Hilton flash some skin at Atelier Versace show
US Supermodel Karlie Kloss displayed a whole lot of leg at the Atelier Versace haute couture fashion show in Paris.
KARLIE Kloss is a supermodel putting the rest of us to shame.
Her dress was so barely there she had to be sewn in at the last minute just before taking to the runway for the Atelier Versace show overnight.
Taylor Swift’s bestie opened the runway show in a flowy mauve coloured floor length chiffon gown that featured several cut out panels, with the dress held together by little more than a row of lace on her left side.
“Thank you Donatella for having me in your #AtelierVersace Couture show and thank you to the beauty dream team @patmcgrathreal and @guidopalau for making us look like @versace_official goddesses in the show tonight!’ Kloss said of the show via Instagram.
The team of models featured on the runway included Kendall Jenner, Doutzen Kroes and Joan Smalls. They wore turn-of-the-century flower crowns and sported voluminous flared silk sleeves alongside floaty skirts with long proportions.
Wrought-iron bodices, meanwhile, added a touch of aggression to the feminine designs and harked back to the days of late 19th century decorative arts, as seen in the architecture of Paris’ metro and its many garden gates.
Colours were subtle and feminine — dived grey, soft apple green, fuchsia, pinks, and flashes of tangerine.
Featured as part of Paris haute couture week, the Atelier Versace 2015/16 show featured many high profile guests in the crowd such as Naomi Campbell, Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, Michelle Rodriguez and Nicky Hilton, all of who were dressed in Versace.
It seemed Rosie and Nicky were also keen to bare some skin with both baring their behinds during the event’s arrivals.
Huntington-Whiteley wore a low cut black lace chiffon dress that bared her behind and toned long legs.
Hilton wore a white 60s style shift dress that featured various cut out panels. From the front it was seemingly demure, but once she turned around to walk up the stairs, guests and the waiting media got more than an eyeful of her behind.
Donatella Versace delivered her strongest show yet for her couture line since its 2012 relaunch, in a fun and frothy collection that mirrored the exuberance of the late ‘70s.
This collection felt like a mature Donatella — a woman who’s found her feet. And one confident enough to go back to codes more associated with her late brother, Gianni, like one fabulous black strapped, figure-hugging lace gown that perfectly hit the heydays of the ‘90s.
