UK retailer Pretty Little Thing criticised for tiny crop top that you can’t fit over your head

THERE’S nothing quite like the disappointment of buying something online and finding it doesn’t fit. But this crop top is something else.

The tiny crop top is impossible to get over your head.

ORDERING clothes online means you always run the risk of buying something that doesn’t quite fit.

But when student Olivia Skuce bought a £12 ($20) crop top from online retailer Pretty Little Thing, she couldn’t even get it over her head.

And after posting a hilarious picture online of her trying on the top, it appears the 21-year-old from Northern Ireland wasn’t alone in finding the garment way too small.
Olivia saw the sheer, black top online and ordered it straight away, having it delivered to her home.

But when trying it on, she couldn’t even get the top over her head or put her arms in the sleeves.

“I had done an order from Pretty Little Thing and think I’ve only ordered from them once before,” she said.

“It’s a size 8 top and when I went to try it on my head wouldn’t fit through.

“So I thought my hair was in the way so put it in a bun and it still wouldn’t go on, so thought I’d tweet them as I’ve seen photos like that before!”

She ordered a size 8, her usual size, and had been confident it would be a perfect fit.

Following the fashion mishap, Olivia tweeted the clothing firm to say: “Hi @OfficialPLT just wondering why your top won’t fit over my head”.

She also posted a hilarious picture of herself trying to pull the top on, which caused a social media uproar, and has been shared thousands of times.

And since Olivia’s post, she has been contacted by hundreds of other people who’ve suffered similar experiences.

“Some people were replying to my tweet saying it’s happened them,” she said.

“Pretty Little Thing replied to me privately they said they’re going to have to check if all the same styled tops are like this and if they are they’ll have to be removed.”

The company have also given Olivia a refund and a discount code. The Sun has contacted Pretty Little Thing for comment.
