YOU know what they say: One man’s plastic drycleaner bag is another man’s “cape sheer overlay dress”.

This “slip-on, sleeveless design”, as described on the luxury retailer Browns’ website, is by the irreverent Italian label Moschino, part of designer Jeremy Scott’s garbage-inspired “cardboard couture” Autumn 2017 collection. It’ll set you back a hefty $910.

Scott, fashion’s long-reigning postmodern provocateur, has a knack for turning the detritus of everyday life into la alta moda.

Some of his most popular Moschino designs have riffed on McDonald’s french fries, Barbie parts and SpongeBob SquarePants.

But for Autumn 2017, Scott took a more literal route, churning out a collection made of actual garbage like packing boxes, bubble wrap, tissues and, yes, the plastic coverings that protect your clothes when you pick them up from the dry cleaners.

This see-through polyester frock — or whatever you want to call it — is meant to be worn over another garment and even includes a paper collar touting, “We [heart] our customers.”

And, hey, if you don’t have $910 to spare on a luxe plastic bag, you can always DIY it.

Step 1: Pick up dress from dry cleaner.

Step 2: Remove hanger.

Step 3: Wear.
