KIM KARDASHIAN and Chrissy Teigen have appeared on social media showing off their bizarre new body modification looks.

THE future of accessories isn’t what you buy, it’s what you embed.

Simon Huck, longtime friend of the Kardashian-Jenners has announced the forthcoming launch of his experimental concept fashion line and exhibition, A. Human.

A handful of Huck’s famous friends, like Kim Kardashian, Chrissy Teigen and Queer Eye star Tan France, took to Instagram to show off pieces from the theoretical collection.

The adornments give the elusion of body modification, a growing beauty trend.

According to Vogue, A.Human is a futuristic take on what body modification may look like in years to come when tattoo ink and piercing become passé and DNA editing and implants may become all the rage.

Chrissy Teigen took to Instagram to show off her favourite piece.

Kicking off on September 5 to coincide with New York Fashion Week, visitors to the brand’s exhibition space will be able to interact with some of these otherworldly body modifications first-hand.

Fancy a nautilus shell-inspired high heel permanently affixed to your foot or a chain-link necklace with LED lights that attaches to the skin of your neck and flashes to the beat of your heart?

“It was important to root this experience in optimism while provoking our guests to think about a potential future of fashion, and by doing so, inviting them to question their definitions of self-expression,” Huck said in a press release for the brand.

“When you think of the future, you think dark, dystopian — there are all these images that come to mind. I didn’t want to create a utopian world, but I definitely wanted to create a world that was optimistic or, at the bare minimum, neutral,” Huck told Vogue.

“We wanted to use the future of fashion and the future of self-expression as a way to look at the future. That is how the ethos of A. Human formed.”
