The 24-year-old niece of an A-list Hollywood actress has captured attention from fans for “looking so like” her famous relative.

Some of Australia’s most recognised women attended a glitzy event to celebrate the launch of a “beauty breakthrough” in Sydney.

Model Jesinta Franklin hosted a glamorous evening on behalf of Lancôme at the Museum of Contemporary Art to celebrate the brand’s newest skincare product, Rénergie H.P.N. 300-Peptide Cream.

She was joined by a host of famous faces, including former foreign minister Julie Bishop, 7Bravo host Lucia Hawley, former Victoria’s Secret model Georgia Fowler and singer Thelma Plum.

Franklin, 31, opted for a black velvet Zimmermann dress with lace detailing across the bust.

The mum-of-two accessorised the $2617 gown with black strappy heels and a sparkly Valentino clutch.

She finished her chic look with a sleek hairstyle, wearing it straight down her back.

Her appearance comes just a few days after Franklin, who married Sydney Swans star Lance “Buddy” Franklin in November 2016, revealed she has long been accused of being a “gold-digger”.

The popular model, who shot to fame in 2010 after being crowned Miss Universe Australia, said it was “degrading” to assume if she wasn’t with Buddy, she wouldn’t be able to afford her lifestyle.

“I don’t understand why my husband has anything to do with my income,” she said to a troll recently.

“I have always worked and whilst we are 100 per cent a team I don’t and will never rely on him financially, because I don’t need to.”

Reflecting on the interaction with Stellar magazine, Franklin said: “There’s absolute true equality between Buddy and I – with financial contribution, with emotional, spiritual, mental, all of that. It’s very equal.

“That’s what makes me feel really empowered as a woman. I know it’s not the same for everyone. Being able to stand on my own two feet, being an equal in this partnership – in every sense of the word – is important for me.”

Nicole Kidman’s niece Lucia Hawley was also at the star-studded event where the blossoming TV presenter wore a pink suit from Australian designer Macgraw.

The stylish two-piece had glitter detailing across the professional ensemble, including the flared pants.

Hawley, who was announced as the new face of Live From E! in February, finished her look with a pair of black heels.

Fans of the 24-year-old have remarked at Hawley’s likeness to her famous aunt since she began working in the industry earlier in the year.

“It’s uncanny,” one commented on social media recently.

“You look so like Nicole,” another agreed.

Georgia Fowler was also among the high-profile guestlist, wearing a figure-hugging white dress with a plunging neckline.

The $3987 Christopher Esber halter-neck gown made a statement, with Fowler teaming it with a single gold cuff bracelet and sleek hair.

Meanwhile, Julie Bishop opted for a double breasted suit jacket from Camilla that she teamed with black pants and a mini clutch.

Bishop is known for her flawless style and has effortlessly transitioned from politics to fashion since resigning from cabinet in August 2018.

Rebecca Harding, who has forged a career as an influencer, stood out in a satin Stella McCartney slip dress with a cut-out detail at the front.

The lime coloured garment also featured puff sleeves – with Harding teaming the statement outfit with simple black accessories and a slicked back bun.

Indigenous singer-songwriter Thelma Plum stunned with a live acoustic performance as guests enjoyed a three-course sit down dinner to celebrate the launch of the new $185 face cream.

The new Lancôme product has been more than 2 years in the making, undergoing more than 250 formulation trials and over 500 quality controls to create a treatment that will “visibly regenerate your skin faster”.
