‘Sold out’: Rebecca Judd causes frenzy for $70 Glassons outfit
The Melbourne WAG has sent shoppers into a spin over a skimpy lace halterneck top and mini-skirt which is surprisingly “cheap”.
Rebecca Judd has turned heads in a skimpy outfit that retails for under $70.
The WAG, who is married to AFL legend Chris Judd, shared a series of “spring wear” outfits from the affordable fashion store Glassons.
The paid post, which Judd declared was an “ad”, quickly garnered huge attention from the mum-of-four’s 756,000 followers – with many declaring they “couldn’t believe” the white lace top and skirt was so “cheap”.
Glassons said the two-piece set has only just hit shelves, but it’s already proving popular, warning it has “almost sold out in all sizes”.
“Bec looks amazing in our Lace Broderie Halter Top ($29.99) and Lace Broderie Mini Skirt ($39.99) from our new Glassons Eventwear Collection for Spring 24,” a spokesperson told news.com.au.
“It’s the set of the season.”
“The new collection has been designed with Spring and Summer soirees in mind and features a mix of elevated, statement pieces in trending fabrications and silhouettes.”
The brand, which is also stocked in New Zealand, said customers will “turn heads” in the affordable new season dresses and separates that have been “crafted with thoughtful designs and unique details”.
Judd’s fans have gone wild for the outfit, commenting on the revealing nature of the mini-skirt and halter top.
“Wow, stunner,” one commented.
“That skirt is so circa 2001,” another shared.
As one declared: “Absolutely sizzling hot little stunner.”
“So beautiful,” said someone else.
“Cuteness,” chipped in one more.
Judd also modelled a black off the shoulder lace maxi dress, which she wore with dark sunglasses, as well as the same design in white, both of which retail for $59.99.
“@glassons killing it with their Spring event wear. I took all of these pieces home with me,” she captioned the post.
Glassons was founded in Christchurch back in 1918 by JH Glasson and was later joined by his brother CV Glasson.
The business was originally a mail-order clothing supplier, but later began manufacturing its own clothing, with a focus on womenswear.
Today it has become known as an affordable fashion brand that is best known for selling bikinis for just $35 and its ability to “stay ahead of fashion trends”.
There are currently 38 Glassons stores in Australia and another 34 stores in New Zealand.
