Australians have gone wild after Abbie Chatfield shared a series of selfies wearing a “sexy” activewear set – with many flocking to buy the outfit.

Abbie Chatfield has sparked an “insane” reaction among fans after sharing a series of snaps wearing skin-tight booty shorts and a matching crop top.

The 27-year-old posted three selfies of herself posing in a mirror wearing a green activewear set from Australian activewear brand STAX earlier this week.

Many of the star’s 410,000 followers were quick to flood Abbie’s post with adoring comments – but the sexy snaps also prompted others to pull out their purses and hit “add to cart”.

The brand’s co-owner Matilda Murray, who runs STAX alongside husband Don Robertson, said Abbie’s unexpected post wearing the gym items caused a rush of action on their website.

“We saw a huge spike in traffic when Abbie posted wearing STAX,” she told news.com.au.

“Honestly it was a shock it went live and it caused the limited edit collection to almost entirely sell out.”

She went on to explain that Abbie was wearing the “Thistle” colour of the brand’s “best black” range – famed by shoppers for having “buttery soft” fabric.

“We love that Abbie shared photos of herself wearing STAX – doesn’t she look insane in this style and colour?”

“Thistle and Abbie are a match made in heaven.”

Followers of the star, who is not a paid ambassador for the brand but did receive the set as a gift, also commented on how great the colour looked on her, labelling the photos “sexy” and “hot”.

“Looking so awesome, so gorgeous,” one fan wrote.

“I want, I need,” another agreed, as someone else said: “This colour.”

Others left cheeky remarks about the figure-hugging nature of the $49.95 bike shorts and $59.95 long-sleeve zip crop.

“I love your human-ness and hot-ness,” one commented.

“Just wow,” another said.

TV presenter and radio host Chrissie Swan also weighed in on the love, declaring: “STAX are the absolute bomb.”

Her comment prompted Abbie to respond, writing: “We need to go on a walk in matching STAX.”

Chrissie has been spotted wearing activewear sets from the Australian brand many times, including during a meal out at an RSL in March.

The 48-year-old shared photos of herself tucking into an entree of sesame prawn toast while wearing the “best black” range from head-to-toe.

STAX tights boast thousands of five-star reviews and have proved popular among celebrities, former reality stars and influencers.

Actress Jennifer Lopez, TikTok mega star Addison Rae and singer Lizzo are among the many A-listers who have been seen wearing the brand.
