Meghan Markle on tour in Australia: What the Duchess of Sussex wore Day 4
MEGHAN Markle donned a $2,000 dress to politely watch some contemporary dance at a girls’ school in Sydney.
USUALLY when someone puts a lei around your neck, you are two Mai Tais in on holiday and you just giggle your way through it.
But it happened to Prince Harry and Meghan Markle this morning and they were stone cold sober.
The Duchess and Duke of Sussex are embarking on day four of their Australian tour, after traipsing around Melbourne yesterday picking up rubbish and handballing footballs.
Their first official duty today is something called “Fluoro Friday” — an initiative from One Wave, the surfing community’s mental health and wellbeing awareness group.
Meghan clearly didn’t get the fluoro memo and stepped out onto the sand in a striped dress in neutral tones by Australian designer Martin Grant — the same chap who made the beige trench coat that she has worn most days of the tour so far.
The dress retails for $1615 and you guessed it! Websites are stating that it’s no longer available.
The pair ditched their shoes to sit with a group who shared their experiences with mental health issue. There was also some surfing and yoga going on.
The shoes Meghan (briefly) wore today were the Castañer “carina” canvas wedge espadrilles ($135).
At lunchtime Meghan and Harry went to Macarthur Girls’ High School to politely watch some contemporary dance.

The Duchess had a costume change from her beach outfit and opted for the eyewateringly expensive Roksanda ‘Athena’ dress ($2,080).
