Lara Worthington announced as the face of swimwear label Seafolly

Aussie model Lara Worthington has returned home from the US to some major news, celebrating her move with a series of “beautiful” bikini photos.

Lara Worthington has landed a major campaign as the face of swimwear label, Seafolly.

It comes after the Aussie model and media personality recently moved home from the US, with her actor husband Sam Worthington.

The 33-year-old was announced as the global ambassador for the iconic brand over the weekend and took to Instagram on Monday to celebrate the news with a series of “stunning” bikini snaps and behind-the-scenes footage of the latest autumn collection.

“Hello everyone, @LaraWorthington here as the new face of Seafolly. Excited to tell you the new collection for Seafolly is launching very soon and over the next few days, I will be taking over Seafolly’s Instagram account,” Lara said.

“Looking forward to sharing previews of the new products along with styling tips and some exclusive behind-the-scenes moments from our two-day campaign shoot in Jervis Bay.”

One of the photos shows Worthington (nee Bingle) laying on the NSW south coast beach wearing black bikini bottoms and a beige Seafolly jumper, while others shared by the brand showed the mother-of-three posing in a red and white nautical striped swimsuit with two cut-outs emphasising her toned tummy.

“Beautiful Lara,” one fan wrote.

“Stunning,” added another.

Seafolly’s head of marketing Victoria Taylor said that when first approaching Worthington about the collaboration, they were drawn to her confidence and passion for wellness as much as her love for Australia and the beach.

“She loves to express herself through style and is a constant inspiration to her fans on living a fulfilling lifestyle,” Ms Taylor said.

“It’s that authenticity and unapologetic spirit that we admire, and we are thrilled to welcome her to the Seafolly family.”

Worthington, who shot the Always Seafolly campaign in February, joins a long list of high profile models who have previously been ambassadors for the label, from Gigi Hadid, Miranda Kerr and Jess Hart.

She flew home earlier this year ahead of her husband and Hollywood actor Sam, who has taken the lead role of Bo in Wesley Enoch-directed stage production Appropriate, which is currently playing at the Sydney Theatre Company.

“My whole schedule is based around my sons [Rocket, Racer and River], and my husband Sam,” she told The Daily Telegraph.

“Every day and week is different. In my downtime I love to make good food, catch up on reading, go to the beach for a swim or have dinner with my girlfriends.”
